Q: Does BFWS have a facebook page?
A: Yes. Become a fan and access pictures, receive updates, and connect with other students.
Q: What academic level are the courses at BFWS?
A: We offer all levels of university courses—even graduate level.
Q: How many courses can I take?
A: You’re welcome to register for as many as your schedule allows. Be certain of your ability to respond conscientiously to the course demands before registering for a class.
Q: How many courses should I take?
A: This is entirely up to you. Some students might wish to register for only one course in order to maximize their writing time during the program. Remember that each course requires reading and writing outside of class in addition to the daily seminars.
Q: Do all courses attend the mountain retreat near Schluchsee (in Altglashütten)?
A: Yes. For more information, please see the “program” page or click on the orange link (mountain retreat). Classes will be held there during the 2-night/3-day retreat, July 29 – 31, 2010.

Q: Will all coursework be completed during the program session?
A: Needless to say, some deadlines will fall after the end of the course.

Q: What is the size of the classes?
A: All writing classes have low limits of at most 15-20 students. The literature courses are capped at 25.
