scholarships

Applications for the tuition scholarship contest being accepted now through April 30, 2010.

BFWS offers a limited number of tuition scholarships to exceptional students who would not be able to attend the Black Forest Writing Seminars without financial help with the course fees. If you wish to be considered for a tuition scholarship, please briefly discuss your financial need in your accompanying Statement of Intent. Travel expenses and accommodations are not included in the tuition scholarship and must be covered by the scholarship recipient.

travel and insurance

Students are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to Freiburg and we strongly recommend taking out fully comprehensive insurance to cover travel, health, cancellation/curtailment costs and belongings. Participants must arrive the day before their course begins. The last class is held on Friday, August 6, 2010.
